Silvana Moscoso
HS/MS Specialists
Silvana Moscoso was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia and then moved to Brazil where she spent most of her childhood. She returned to Santa Cruz and spent her senior year of high school as an exchange student for AFS in Ohio, USA. She started working at SCCS as the library assistant at the age of 19 while she waited to go to college in Argentina. However, she ended up staying at SCCS for 10 years, during which she was awarded a certificate in Montessori Teaching, as well as other various educational courses. She left SCCS and to work at the Santa Cruz International School (SCIS) as an elementary school teacher, and she would spend 16 years there, all while completing her Bachelor’s degree in Psychopedagogy and several other courses. She started teaching with Pre-Kinder to 3rd grade, and then finally started teaching High School Psychology. In 2013 she returned to SCCS as the library media specialist. In the last 4 years she has organized and developed the SCCS Library services.
